Dr. Stacey Wright, Psy.D.

Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Stacey Wright specializes in the evidence-based treatment of anxiety disorders in individuals ages 18+. Her areas of expertise include generalized anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, social anxiety, health anxiety, specific phobias, and panic disorder. Dr. Wright also has experience treating individuals with other related emotional and behavioral difficulties, including mood-related disorders like depression, attention problems, executive dysfunction, and perfectionism. Much of her training was completed in college counseling centers, and as such, working with young adults on issues of identity development is a special interest of Dr. Wright’s, as well.
Dr. Wright listens closely to every client’s specific needs and works collaboratively with them to identify the best course of treatment. Her primary approach to treatment is based in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), a therapeutic modality that emphasizes the link between thoughts, feelings, and behavior. She also incorporates interventions from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), interoceptive exposure, and mindfulness/self-compassion practices, as needed. Dr. Wright is committed to and prioritizes continued education in anti-racist, gender and sexuality-affirming, and neurodivergent-affirming practice.
